CaCheryl Polk-Williams Obituary

CaCheryl Armella Polk-Williams received her wings of glory April 2, 2020. Born October 10, 1959 in Cleveland, Ohio, she accepted Christ at an early age and remained a long standing active member of Sacrificial Missionary Baptist Church. She attended her neighborhood Cleveland Public Schools and graduated from John F. Kennedy HS in 1977. CaCheryl relocated to Ocala, Florida where she obtained her Registered Nursing degree from The College of Central Florida. Her desire to work with the senior community led her into a constant upward bound nursing career at several senior living facilities in the Central Florida area before returning to Cleveland. Upon her return, she continued to passionately serve the senior community in their homes as a visiting nurse.

CaCheryl enjoyed trying new experiences, and most of all living a Christ like example. CaCheryl, like Christ, went where no one wanted to or would go. She willingly helped those who were deemed exiles and outcasts. CaCheryl saw the light of God and good in everyone she met. She was our modern day good Samaritan.

CaCheryl will be deeply missed but never forgotten by her son, Raemon Polk (Loronte); granddaughters Meosha, Raqiyah, & Shamari Polk of Florida; spouse Carlton Williams of Florida. She will forever remain affectionately loved and remembered by 5 sisters Susan Squire of Ohio, Areatha Renea Polk of Georgia, Judith Hunter (David) of Ohio, Diane Lucky of Ohio, Brandi Crenshaw of Georgia; 2 brothers Eddie Lamont Squire of Georgia, Raphael Crenshaw of California, and multitude of family and friends. Her parents Norvella Crenshaw, James Polk Sr., Eddie Squire, and brother, James Jr. have already received and greeted her on the banks the Jordan River.

6Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Phil.4)
