Beatrice Elizabeth Harper

Beatrice E. Harper was born on November 30, 1930 to James and Juanita Howard (both deceased) in Cleveland, OH. They moved to Bedford, OH where she grew up. She returned to Cleveland where she attended East Technical High School and later married Luther Harper, Sr. From this union, four children were born. Alice (deceased), Denese, Luther Jr. and Douglas.

On October 9, 1976, Beatrice married Solomon Chisholm and became mother to Lorene, Eugene, JoAnn, Kashauna, Donnie, Leonard and extended daughters Shavsha, Katherine and Salina.

She joined Cleveland Church of God in Christ in 1996. She later retired from the hotel business and began working for the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. Beatrice leaves to cherish her memory; one sister Earlene Slater, adopted granddaughter, Elizabeth Wagner, best friends, Patty, Ray, Lola Minnifield and Renee Lusk, along with a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, loved ones and friends.
