As a preschooler she relocated to Cleveland, Ohio. Cassandra was the oldest of three children. She accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior and was baptized at the City of Zion Missionary Baptist Church. Where she served as a Sunday School teacher. She landed her first job at Richmond Brothers as a data entry operator. Then moved to a position at Central National Bank. In Sept 1986, she married Tommy Gorie, Jr and together they had a son Tommy III and later in life she had two daughters Kesha Dee and Kerrie Deanna.
