April 12, 1962 - May 28, 2019

Delmar "Del" Emil Stephens was born April 12, 1962 in Cleveland, OH to Bobbie L. Stephens-Gibson and Andrew Stallings Jr. who have both preceded him in death. Delmar attended A. J. Rickoff Elementary School, Alexander Hamilton Junior High School, Robert H Jamison Jr. High School and Cleveland Central Catholic High School. Delmar enjoyed art and drawing. He received an art scholarship upon entering an art contest with a comic book but ultimately decided to turn it down as he only enjoyed drawing as a hobby. Delmar entered the work force as a shoe salesman for Father & Son, Tom McCann and Coles at Randall Park Mall. His personality gained him great popularity with his customers and where he was in high demand as an expert in customer service. Showing his dedication to hard-work, he also worked alongside his grandfather John L. Stephens in their family business S&S Delicatessen. Delmar would soon develop a career in Driving. He would go on to dedicate his career to RTA, Euclid City Schools, and Laurel Schools. Delmar was acknowledged for his excellence as a bus driver by the Plain Dealer Newspaper. He is also a retired member of the Hell Raiser Motorcycle Club. Delmar leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Arielle Bowen (Son-in-love Daniel Bowen Sr.) and Asjerai Stephens. His two grandchildren Daniel Bowen Jr. and Carmello Stephens. Also left to mourn is his beloved sister, LuJuana Nottingham Polk, his 3 nieces Sable Nottingham, Kymani Peterson and Zaharia Polk, his fiancé Jacqueline Collins and a host of family, friends and loved ones.
