Edward Daniel Banks Jr.

Edward Daniel Banks, Jr. “Eddie” was born May 17, 1949 in New Haven Connecticut to the late Eunice and Edward, Sr.  He spent his formative years in New Haven until the family moved to East Orange, New Jersey in 1960.  He graduated from Shaker Heights High School in Shaker Heights, Ohio in 1966.  After graduation he served in the US Army. Eddie enjoyed watching and playing basketball and football.  He loved to be around his family and friends. 

Eddie departed this life on Wednesday, June 20, 2018.  He is preceded in death by his father Edward Sr., mother Eunice Banks and his great nephew Ryeshone Davis, Jr.

He leaves to celebrate his joyous journey his sister Cheryl Davis; nephews Rick Odom and Mark Fleming and his niece Kelly Davis (Rocky); great nieces and nephews Quincy Odom, Mahari Mitchell, Jamyra Davis, Deshone Davis, Syiesha Davis, Chayla Davis, Shyara Davis, Dreshone Davis, Kierra Davis, Tayshone Davis, Jayshone Davis, Kyla Davis and Kryshone Davis; a special friend Tom Paige; a host of cousins and other relatives and friends.
