Fannie Leona Hall, 92, affectionately known as “Ma”. Was born December 7, 1925 in Pittsburgh, PA. She was the second oldest child born to Virginia Austin and Edward Walton. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Lloyd, Timothy, George and David; two sisters, Josephine and Kate and one son, Joseph.
When she was about two years old, her family relocated to Cleveland, Ohio. She was educated in Cleveland Municipal Schools and graduated from Central High School in 1941. She was employed at the May Company and retired in 1991. Her hobbies included reading the Bible, listening to Gospel music and watching TV. Her favorite shows were the “Judge Shows”. Fannie loved to help everybody.
In 1973, Fannie was united in holy matrimony to Joseph Hall. Fannie was a longtime member of the United Missionary Baptist Church in Cleveland, OH, under the pastorate of Dr. Karious Mc. Daniel and later, Pastor Robert Dix Jr.
Fannie faithfully attended Sunday School, Bible study and Prayer Meeting. In 2009, Fannie became a chartered member of The Mothers Ministry. In 2014, she became The Mother of The Church and President of Mission. Affectionately called Mother Hall, Fannie loved her Pastor(s) and her church. She will be deeply missed. Fannie departed this life on June 27, 2018 at 2:30AM in the comfort of her home.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Charles Boseman (Sandra) of Flint, MI; three daughters, Virginia Rankin (Albert) of Cleveland, Loretta Clark of Jonesboro, GA, Sandra Jefferson (Russell) of Cleveland; three sisters, Betty Austin and Judith Moore, both of Cleveland, OH and Francis Jones of Bedford Heights, OH; two brothers, Moses Austin of Cleveland, OH and John Sturdivant (Henrietta) of California; sister in law, Jessie Austin and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
