Patricia Louise Warren-Banks was born to the late Tommie and Louise Warren on January 16, 1951 in Cleveland, Ohio. Patricia was the third of seven children born. To know Patricia, was to love her; which everyone did.
Patricia had a smile that would light up any room and a heart of gold. Patricia was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. Patricia was also the mother of the neighborhood; they would call her “Mama Banks”. If someone in the neighborhood passed away, she would love to send food to the family. If your birthday was coming, she would always have a cake or cookies waiting for you.. That’s just the kind of person she was. The loving parents would tell Patricia, “You’re going to give my kids diabetes with all the cakes and cookies”. Patricia was also a member of Afro Dogs Motorcycle Club of Cleveland, Ohio. Patricia’s other love was for BINGO. She was the QUEEN of BINGO, her face book page always stated she was employed by every bingo hall in and out of state. She also enjoyed going out of town to play bingo and to go to the casino, she will be truly missed from both places.
Patricia grew up on Hough Ave where she attended Dunham Elementary School and Addison Jr. High School where she met and fell in love with Billy Banks and to this union six children were born. Patricia worked for the United States Postal Service and also at Orlando Bakery until she retired in 2003.
Patricia Louise Banks” Patty Cake” departed this life on May 30, 2019 at Cleveland Clinic Hospital with her loved ones by her side. Preceding her in death are her parents: Tommie and Louise Warren. Sister; Rosetta, brother; Samuel.
In 1985, she met Mr. Pierre Lowe and they were inseparable ever since. Whenever Patricia would go traveling, she would never leave home without her Pierre. During her life span, Pierre never left her side, weather it was at the casino, bingo hall or in the kitchen. It was Pierre that gave her the nickname " G-MA".
