Yasriyyah Yvonne “July” Wentz , age 73, unexpectedly died on November 28, 2019, at her home in Cleveland, OH.
Yasriyyah was known as Cookie or July to many of her family and friends. She was also known as ma and is survived by her sons Steve Hearst (Loree) of Columbus OH (granddaughters Amanda and Marisa), Johnathan Mitchell of Alamo GA (granddaughter Jasmine), Charles Hearst of Cleveland (granddaughters Ki’Ara, Paisley and grandsons Reginald, DeMarkus, Malcom,Owen) daughter Charonnedre Hearst of Phoenix AZ (grandsons, Donte, Dennis, Jai’Lun,Chevelle, Sincere), her sister Evelyn “Precious” Nu’man of Atlanta GA and younger brother, Ronald Jackson of Cleveland OH. She is preceded in death by her husband Ricardo Wentz and her mother and father.
Yasiryyah was born on July 20, 1946 in Cleveland OH, to parents Andrew Jackson and Evelyn Ruth Jackson. She was a hard worker inside her home to better her children and grandchildren. She married Ricardo Wentz on October 19,1979 and was happily married until Ric passed in 2002.
July was very social in the Cleveland, Elyria and Delaware OH areas. She was deeply involved in the Hough Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses over the past 15 years. She enjoyed speaking to people about the Bible’s hope of a resurrection for those sleeping in death. Her family and friends will always remember her as someone that wanted to hug all she met, had a beautiful smile, enjoyed life to the fullest and was creative in telling stories. She was a beautiful daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Those who knew her will remember her taste in style and fashion and the smile that displayed love to all persons.
To remember a life well lived a family gathering is scheduled for 1pm on December 8th, 2019 in a Private Room at 1929 East 61st Street, Cleveland OH 44103. Memories of July’s beautiful life will be shared and new memories will be made.
