On April 9, 1980, Alpha A. Stewart was born to the late Carol Stewart in Fulton County, Georgia. At a young age her mother relocated to Cleveland, Ohio. She spent years here before relocating to Chicago, where she also attended college. She ended up coming back to Cleveland where she met Dwight Moon and they had 3 beautiful children together, Dwight, Talia, and Olivia. She found joy not only in her own children, but also being an Auntie. She wasn’t just supportive of her own children in anything they participated in, but all children she interacted with. She found joy in anything that her children participated in and would cheer and encourage them to do their best. Alpha was a faithful worker at C.A.T.S. where she also obtained her Master’s while working there. She not only was employed there, but she had a family among her coworkers, that is what made Alpha special by making family where ever was part of an organization. Alpha accepted Christ at an early age, but it was joining her Christian Sorority, Omega Rho Chi that strengthened her walk and faith in the Lord. She was excited to be a member of The Glory House under Pastor Nathaniel Burge Jr.
Alpha will be known from here to Chicago and every other city in between for keeping in touch with each of us. She was part of a Sorority from college which every time she would go visit, she would try to she her frat brothers and finesse sisters. She will also be missed by her Rolling Thunder Bowling family, an organization which she was one of the original members, and later in life has her children to join. Our out-of-town trips will ne be the same without her. Alpha will be missed for her humor, her smile, and her willingness of always trying to help others. She will also be missed as being a cheerleader from any and every child who knew her. Not enough words will ever be able to describe the relationship any of us had with Alpha. She was a true blessing who will be missed from all of our lives.
She was preceded in death by her parents. She leaves to mourn her passing, her children: Dwight, Talia, and Olivia and their father Dwight Moon. She al leaves her brothers Joseph Wiley (his loving wife), Rodney (Nicole) Hooper, her Aunt, Deborah. Her nephew, and her niece Faith. She also leaves a host of other nieces and nephews, extended family and friends from here in Cleveland all the way across the United States.
