Anne Lattimore Obituary

Anne Marie Lattimore, beloved mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2025, in her hometown of Cleveland, Ohio. Born on March 31, 1967, to the late Tempie Lattimore and Marvin Smith. Anne, who was affectionately known as Reedee by her family, attended John Adams High School. She was a proud graduate of Cuyahoga Community College with an Associate degree of Applied Sciences and an Associate degree in Urban Studies. She accepted Christ as a young woman. Reedee truly loved the Lord and never hesitated to let you know just how much. Her spiritual journey was a defining aspect of her character, and it provided comfort and guidance to those around her. She was known to send out uplifting, inspirational morning texts to family, friends and also sometimes to people she barely even knew, daily. She was a faithful member of True Gospel Missionary Baptist Church and often assisted in Friday Youth Nights for the children. Her faith in God stayed strong during her times of illness and she made it known that it was the Lord and only he who saw her through. A true Cleveland sports enthusiast, Anne cheered with fervor for the Cleveland Browns and the Cleveland Cavaliers. Her enthusiasm for her teams was contagious, and she was often the heart and soul of game-day gatherings. Reedee also had a profound appreciation for classic movies, murder mysteries, and was a black history buff. She was also an avid reader. She retained a personal library of hundreds of books. She is survived by her children, Mercedes, Chevyan, Allanté, & Lavell, Her granddaughter, Genesis. Her grandson Mercy preceded her in death. Reedee truly held dear to her relationship with her brother Tracy and her six sisters, Phyllis Lattimore (late Zoe), Francesca Freeman (Shawn), Francine Andrews (Cary), Louvenia Lattimore (Rich), Elaine Bailey, and Carmen Fariley (Raymar). She was preceded in death by her parents Tempie (Frank) and Marvin. She absolutely adored her nieces and nephews; who will fondly remember their Auntie Reedee. Her siblings will forever hold her memory dear, as a sister who was always there with a listening ear. She is loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure. May she rest in peace with the Lord, knowing that her love lives on in each of us forever
