Anthony’s Story
Anthony (Boo) Sheldon Atkins Jr., brought joy into our lives on December 28, 1984, a son that blessed his mother Benita L. Bethea and his father Anthony S. Atkins Sr.
He was born in Cleveland, Ohio. In his earlier years he attended Cleveland Public Schools and later he moved to Charlotte, North Carolina to continue his education.
Upon returning to Cleveland, he found his first full time job at Food Lion.
The course of his life brought medical challenges and the stresses associated with them, but through it all, he maintained a healthy sense of humor and he was determined to live his life. He loved his family, friends, and life in general.
In late 2005, he met Eric Pierson and the two shared their lives together as one.
