Clarence Stephens as loving husband and father and friend to everyone he knew. Clarence was a hardworking man, and when he said he is going to do something, he did it. Clarence was a man to his word.
Clarence was born in Fort Mitchell Russell, Alabama to the union of the late Annie Lee and Harry Stephens Sr., both whom preceded him in death. Clarence’s siblings: Beatrice, Dorothy, Richard, Raymond, Alfred, Manuel, Harry, Edgar, and James all preceded him in death as well. Clarence also had an additional brother, Jim Jones, that his parents raised as their own son.
Clarence received many awards from the City of Cleveland water department as a repair pipeman. Also as from the church where he served as an usher.
Clarence loved the lord and going to church. Clarence united in marriage to Pauline Upshaw, they were married for 58 Years. They were blessed with five children, four Grandchildren, Eight Great Grand Children and one Great-Great Grandson. He also leaves behind his coworkers and friends from the City of Cleveland Water department and all who knew him as well extended family and church family.
Clarence leaves behind his brother, Kary Stephens, His sister, Myrtis Ball, his Four Grandchildren, Eight Great Grandchildren, and one Great-Great Grandchild.
