Dai'Jon Rondu Lamar Cephus

Dai'Jon aka Dai/Chocolate/DJ was born February 25, 1991 to Contwana Cephus and Rondu Powers. He accepted Christ at an early age. He graduated from Garrett A. Morgan School of Science. Employed at Ford Motors and True North. He ran track, played basketball for Southeast Seventh-day Adventist Church and played football for St.Tims Saints. He loved sports and his family. 

Dai'Jon was a very head strong, respectful young man who loved life and worked hard. He believed in enjoying life and making the best of what you have. He was a strong believer in happiness and loved hard. He was raised, loved and educated by his mother Contwana & father Darin Albright (Pops) from the age of 16 months along with his grandparents, great grandparents. Aunts and uncles.

Dai'Jon was a good son, great father, awesome uncle, pain in the butt little brother, a great big brother and friend. He loved his family, music, laughing, basketball, singing and making other people laugh. He also loved family gatherings, birthday celebration, motorcycles, comedy, karaoke, poetry and dancing. He was our ghetto cowboy and our own Bernie Mac…he kept the jokes coming. Lol 

Dai'Jon’s goal was to keep others laughing and smiling. He had a great sense of humor and will always be loved and remembered.

Dai'Jon has three grandparents that preceded him in death: Grandma Esther Boyd (Tena) & Basirah Wahab (Grandma Love), Grandpa Johnny Martin and Brother Jimmy Davis.

Dai'Jon leaves to celebrate his legacy of life, his mother Contwana, father Darin, and three brothers: 

DeMarcus (Bo) Cephus, Darquan (DJ) Albright, Jerry Powers and Sister Sade Morgan. His beautiful daughter Zhaniya Marie Reese Cephus; Grandparents: Brenda Melvin, Calvin Cephus, Pauline & Robert Albright, Patricia & Morice Ward; Great grandparents: Charles Brown and Reva Albright; three nieces: Aa’Myja, Hazel and Kaizen; two nephews: Ja’cobi and Kaiser; four God-sisters and God-brothers; Rondu Powers, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
