Darryle Mosby Obituary

Darryle“Scheron” Mosby, was born October 25th 1972 in Cleveland ohio to

Rosetta Thomas and Jonathan Byrd. Scheron was the 2nd oldest child of the

5 children. Scheron accepted Jesus christ  in his life at the age of 12 and attended

2nd New Hope baptist church regularly with his grandfather.  

 

Scheron attended West tech high school and later graduated from Cleveland Christian

Academy with his high school diploma. Scheron had  dreams of becoming a  mechanic.

So he attended OTC and obtained a degree in mechanical engineering.

 

Later on in life Scheron met Renee and in their union they had a son Darryle jr.

Scheron  enjoyed many things in life such as eating his mom famous chitterlings,

Yes’ food was one of his favorite things. Scheron also enjoyed being a DJ at many 

Family functions and parties for his friends.Scheron loved watching his favorite tv show 

Sanford & Son. One of the most important things in Scheron’s life was his children and

spending time with them. He enjoyed teaching Darryle, jr. everything he knew about

Being a DJ. Scheron also loved spending time with his baby girl who enjoyed singing love and happiness with her daddy… Yes they thought they were some true singers”

 

Scheron also enjoyed spending time with his best friend Dez, whenever those two got together it 

Was all laughs, clowning around, and reminiscing about old times and just kicking it ....those two were always together. Scheron had a special bond with his mom, she would always go over his house and for some reason he never wanted her to leave.. “He would say Ma’ watch this movie with me” and then when the movie was over he would  say ``Now u can just go in there and lay down… But she didn't mind. It was their time together.

 

Scheron and his baby sister  Michelle were also really close. Michelle’s favorite saying for her

Brother was “I am My Brother's keeper”  and Scheron would always call her his spoiled brat.

Scheron and his younger brother lil Mikey who was the dad of the bunch would always tell him you gotta get up and  start moving”and his response would be ‘I am”

Scheron and lil MIkey were so close, they told each other everything it was truly a brotherly

bond that could not be broken. Scheron and his sister Makeba had grew close over the years

She loved Scheron and was so excited that her brother was able to Dj her first hair show, a very special moment for them both.


 

Scheron  was inspired by his mom to start a daycare center. She had been a daycare provider for 16Yrs and  Scheron saw how much the children brought joy to her life, and he felt the same way. Scheron loved children and founded a daycare center in 2020 and named it,

“Helping Them Cross Child Development .“ he was determined to help as many children as he could. The children at the center loved being around Scheron joking ,playing games and yes 

 Singing….lol 





 

On August 2nd God so fit to welcome his son Scheron home.

Scheron leaves behind his mother Rosetta Thomas{Larry} his father Jonathan

Byrd his his grandmother Sally Mae”Boss”{deceased] his grandfather

McJohnson {deceased} His children Kierra R. Wilson, Darrylel S. Mosby jr.,

Marcus Mosby,Amari M. Mosby and  Alanna I.Brooks also his god daughter

Shay-Shay. His siblings Michael Thomas,Michelle Thomas,MarcusThomas{deceased}

Makeba D. Byrd His godMother Renee,God sistersTheresa,Kenneta,Lasonya,Bridget his

Granddaughter Amiya C. Richardson and his best friend of many years Dez

Nieces and nephews Marchelle,Alexis,Marissa,Mikale ,Biggs,Michael,Julien 

& a host of close friends and loved ones.
