David Allen Owens

David Allen Owens, age 67, was born on April 24, 1958, in Moulton, Alabama, to Lorean Owens and Lumford, who both preceded him in death. Later Lorean was married to James. David was known for his quiet strength, sense of humor, and deep love for his family. He carried a warm spirit and a generous heart, touching the lives of all who knew him. David was a dedicated and hardworking man who spent over four decades employed with DiSanto Companies Landscaping, where he began working in 1978. His commitment, reliability, and strong work ethic earned him deep respect from colleagues and customers alike. He especially enjoyed fishing, a peaceful pastime that brought him joy throughout his life. Above all, David treasured the time he spent with his mother. Their bond was unbreakable, and those who knew him understood how deeply he loved and cared for her.

David was proceeded in death by hi sister Beverly Owens. David leaves to cherish his memory his beloved children:Shakera Owens of Bedford, Ohio  and Jevone Young-Owens of Dallas, Texas He was a proud grandfather to four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him tremendous joy. David is also survived by his devoted brother, James “Anthony” Owens (Frances) of Solon, Ohio, and his loving baby sister, Bridgette Owens of Garfield Heights, Ohio. He will be remembered fondly by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunties, uncles, and extended family members, all of whom were blessed by his presence. David’s life was a testament to perseverance, family unity, and unconditional love. Though he has departed this earthly life, his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
