Donald Wayne James, 75, of Cleveland, Ohio, went home to be with his
Lord and Savior on July 31, 2022. He was born in Pratt City, Alabama
on February 23, 1947. He was predeceased by his parents Mack James,
Beatrice (Crawford) Wagner, and Stepfather Elvin James Wagner, Sr.
He excelled in all his scholastic years, graduated from East Technical
High School and attended Alabama A&M College for 2 years. He
believed unwavering in the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior, baptized at
a young age, and was a deacon at his Church. He served in the United
States Army and was employed by General Electric Company until
its closing, loved bowling, playing backgammon and pool, but most
important spending quiet moments with the Lord Jesus Christ, reading
his Bible.
Donald is survived by his spouse of 27 years, Deborah James,
brother; Elvin James (Paulette) Wagner, Jr., sister; Terry Ann Wagner,
daughters; Yolanda (Anthony) Strothers, Lisa James, stepdaughter;
Nicole Evans, Stepson; Ricky Chavers (deceased), Family: seven nieces, three nephews, five grand-children,
seven great grand-children, extended relatives and friends.
