Doris Ann Peters, a beacon of love and strength, was called home to be with the Lord on September 16, 2025, at the age of 65. Born on August 18, 1960, in Cleveland, Ohio. Parents, Claude Edwards and Gloriajean McElrath. Doris accepted Christ as her personal savior and lived a full life marked by devotion to her family, faith, and community.
A lifelong resident of Cleveland, Doris attended Cleveland Public School System, embodying the spirit of lifelong learning and personal growth. Her career as an STNA for A to Z Provisions was more than a job; it was a ministry through which she touched the lives of countless individuals with her compassion and care. Doris's clients were not just recipients of her professional care but also her deep conversations and heartfelt prayers helped the clients get through.
Traveling around the world with friends and family was among Doris's greatest joys. These adventures allowed her to witness the vast beauty of God's creation and to forge lasting bonds with those she loved most. Her passion for live music concerts was another avenue through which she celebrated the joy of life, often praising the Lord through song.
Those who knew Doris will remember her as a quiet, loving, thoughtful, and courageous woman. She faced life's challenges with a steadfast heart and an unwavering belief in the power of love to overcome all obstacles. Her legacy will live on in the lives she touched, the wisdom she imparted, and the memories cherished by all who were blessed to know her.
Doris was preceeded in death by her siblings, Helena Edwards and Eugene Edwards.
Doris leaves to cherished her loving memory, Husband, Fred Peters Jr. Siblings; Patricia Green and William Edwards. Daughters, Sadie Williams, Shanay Williams, Francine Peters, Sondra Peters. Sons; Kent Williams Jr, Kacy Williams, Fred Peters lll, Jason Peters, Sean Peters, Jesse Peters, and Duncan Peters. Grandchildren, Monea’ca Grayer, Toryn Williams, Million Reynolds. From her extended family, there are too many Grandchildren to be named by name LOL…. One Great Grandchild, Azora Mitchell and a host of other relatives and friends.
As we bid farewell to Doris Ann Peters, we take solace in knowing that she is now in the presence of our Heavenly Father, reaping the rewards of a life well-lived. We celebrate her spirit, which remains a guiding light, and we pray that we may one day be reunited in eternal glory. Until then, we hold her close in our hearts, forever grateful for the time we shared and the lessons she taught us about love, faith, and the beauty of life.
