Earlyne’s Story
Earlyne “Lovingly known as Grandear” Murray-Nash age 75 Born December 17, 1945 in Bluefield West Virginia to the parents of Earl and Nannie Nash. Earlyne was the fourth of five siblings.
Earlyne was employed with the United States Post Office from 1969 till her retirement in 2012. A journey where she acquired many friends over the years. Some would say they were her second family. Earlyne enjoyed reading, bowling, and a true fan of the Cleveland Browns.
Earlyne joined Bethany Christian Disciples of Christ April 19, 1992.
Earlyne always enjoyed her family on holidays and special events that would bring everyone together. You always knew she was in the “room” outspoken and caring.
On April 3, 2021 God call Earlyne’s name and she answered the call and is now reunited with her husband Theodore Murray, Mother Nannie Choates, sisters Patricia Clayton (Charles), Mary Lydia Buford (Deceased Purcell).
Earlyne leaves to mourn two children Lydia McClain and Kathleen Murray; two brothers William Nash (Barbara Jean), Curtis Nash (Valerie); four grandchildren Julian, Tyler, Cedric, Johnae; three great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
Due to Covid-19 the funeral services are private and the number of attendees are limited. Please confer with the family prior to attending the funeral services. The funeral service will be livestreamed via this webpage.
