Inora Kee-Hands was born on April 28, 1934 in Lawndale, North Carolina. Inora was the youngest of 10 children born to the late Will Kee and Susie Humphries Kee.
Inora was educated in the Lawndale School System, where she graduated from Douglas High School. On November 12, 1955, she married the late John Frank Hands and after moving to Cleveland, Ohio one son was born to this union Reginald Scot Hands.
She had many interests that included bowling, aerobics, tennis, making quilts and sewing for her family and friends. She especially loved planting colorful flowers each year and enjoyed spending time in her yard. She cherished the quality time that she spent with her sisters as they enjoyed shopping, cooking and sharing tips on how to grow the prettiest flowers on the block!
Inora leaves to cherish her precious memory, one son; Reginald Scot Hands and his wife Yolanda, an adored grandson; Reginald Scot Hands II, her dear sister; Gladys "Sis" Jenkins, her loving brother; Jimmie Lee Kee and his wife Gladys, her best friend; Mary Banks and a host of nephews, nieces, and other family members and friends; who all loved and cherished her.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 7 brothers and sisters; Charlie Kee, Flora Hardin, Woodrow Wilson Kee, John Francis Kee, Tillman Kee , Willie Ree Ward and Alice Thomas.
