Jeannette was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Hurley and Louise Ruth Harris on September 3, 1950. Her parents preceded her in death. She was the second of four children. She was baptized in Christ early in life and she was currently a member of Affinity Missionary Baptist Church. She lived and worked in Cleveland and Graduated from East High School. She attended Cuyahoga Community College and obtained a degree in early childhood education. During her life she worked as a librarian, lunch aid and a daycare teacher.
She enjoyed arts & crafts, needle point, watching classic movies, reading, solving puzzles and spending time with her family. Jeannette was a comedian at heart and enjoyed telling jokes and laughing. She had a wonderful sense of humor. She has three siblings (Hurley, Jr, Jerelene and Terrance) and one son Toby to mourn her loss, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Thought
Jeannette, oh how you will be missed. But we know in our hearts, that to be absent from the body means that you are present with God.
