Joan Parsons

Joan E Parsons, 82, departed this life on June 19,2022 with loving family by her side.
Joan E. Parsons was born on March 16, 1940, in Lynch, Kentucky to Susie M. Simpson and Johnnie L.
Rogers.
She graduated from East High School and later attended Cuyahoga Community College.
Joan married Billy C. Parsons (deceased) on July 18, 1959 and bore four children within that union. She
was a devoted homemaker and very passionate about family life with emphasis on nurturing her
children. Congruent to the early death of her spouse, Joan accepted Christ in her life and was baptized.
She began servicing Christ whole-heartedly not just within her home but in the mission field. Her quest
to provide encouraging thoughts, gifts, food or assistance to those individuals who were shut-in and in
nursing facilities became a desire which she fervently embraced. Her “giving’s and sharing’s” lasted
throughout her lifetime.
Joan loved the lord and had deep trust, faith, and belief that God would provide all her needs as well as
see her through any and every obstacle. Her persistent faith was steadfast, unshaken and admirable.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents, Susie M. Kelley and Johnnie L. Rogers, Billy C. Parsons
(husband), Andre T. and Christopher K. Parsons (sons), Arthurlene Carter and Immogene Watkins
(sisters), Jeffrey L. Hawkins and Jerry L. Rogers (brothers). She leaves to mourn her memories William C.
and Angela D. Parsons (children), Geraldine Wright (sister), James Hawkins (brother), John A. Rogers
(brother) (Marla) and Joseph B. Rogers (Marilyn), Aramis Parsons (grandson), Melanie Parsons
(granddaughter) (Adam Gordon Tate), Bianca Parsons (granddaughter), Al’Lonso Ray (grandson), Myra
Parsons Jones (granddaughter), Amber Burrell (granddaughter) four great grandchildren Caiden, Ashton,
Christopher and Amara, a host of nieces nephews and other relatives and friends.
