Johnny Johnson Obituary

Johnny was born February 5, 1952 to the late Booker Johnson Sr., and Lillie Mae Germany-Johnson in Tuskegee, Alabama. Johnny Johnson received Christ at the age of 12 year's old at St. John's Baptist Church in Cleveland, Ohio.

He went to East Technical High School and decided to enlist into the Army at 17 years on the advice of his late uncle, Charlie Johnson. Johnny served 3 years in the military and received and honorable discharge.

He was married to the late Shirley Johnson where he brought his son Johnny Todd, into the marriage union and was bless with three step-children; Fanecia, LaTasha and Robert.

He was the eldest of 14 brothers and sisters. He leaves behind to cherish the memories of him; Helen B. Williams (Robert) Charlestine, Sharon, Arlinda, Gregory (Ceila), Deljetta, Patricia, Sharon (Deceased), Roy, Deborah, Barbara Ann, David, Booker Jr.(Cherry), Gary (Lily). He leaves behind a host grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.

Johnny was a very outgoing person, he enjoyed summer days sitting on his porch with family and friends playing dominos. Johnny was well loved by everyone who met him. Every time you see him, he would have a big smile on his face and would always welcome everyone to his and late wife Shirely's  home. Johnny would not walk pass any one without speaking to them. Everybody knew Johnny and loved him.
