Kerry’s Journey
Kerry Lee Jackson, a cherished son, brother, and friend, passed away on August 3, 2025, at the age of 40 in his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio. Born to Connie Lee Jackson and Janice Marie Jackson on January 11, 1985, Kerry was a beacon of creativity and kindness throughout his life
Kerry's passion for the arts was evident from a young age. He had an exceptional talent for sketching and painting, often capturing the beauty of the world. His artwork was not just a hobby but a way of communicating his innermost feelings and perspectives. It brought joy and inspiration to all who had the privilege of viewing his creations ranging from comics on current events to creating templates for local paint and sip events.
Kerry's family was the cornerstone of his life. He shared an unbreakable bond with his Mother Janice Marie, a strong memory of his father Connie Lee and is survived by his brother Khani Lamont and his sister, Stephanie Wells Moore. The memories they created together will be treasured forever
Kerry's departure was in line with the peaceful and thoughtful way he lived his life. He passed away due to neurologic criteria, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and compassion. His absence will be deeply felt by those who knew him, but his spirit will continue to live on through his art and the countless lives he touched.
Kerry, you are a spirit who brought light into our lives. Your smile, loving hugs, kindness sensitivity and giving nature were limitless. Though your time with us was brief, you taught us lessons of love, appreciation, compassion and courage.
Kerry was a good example of what courage, focus and resilience can do for people and it showed in the countless battles he faced and overcame. He taught us that life is not about how hard you get hit, its about making sure you keep standing. His leadership will be a great memory and reminder that no challenge is too great and that God will not give any of us a fight we cannot win.
As we say goodbye to Kerry, we celebrate the time we were fortunate enough to share with him. His life was a testament to the power of kindness, the importance of family, and the willingness to keep fighting. Kerry Lee Jackson will be profoundly missed, but his light will never fade from the hearts of those who loved him.
