Lisa Hogan Obituary

Lisa Lynette Hogan was born in Cleveland, Ohio on January 26, 1968 to the late Edward Arthur Hogan and Linda Carol Hogan and was the oldest of five siblings.  Lisa worked for Arrow International Inc. for almost 31 years where she was looking to retire this year and start a new chapter in her life.  She also worked a part-time job as a security officer for almost 20 years and took pride in both of her jobs.

Lisa never had children of her own, but played a very important role as Auntie Eiah for all of her immediate and great nieces and nephews and was always there when they needed her.  She took on the role of Matriarch when our Mother passed away nine years ago on this very day of June 6th and has been significant in keeping our family traditions going as the Hogans' do so well.

Lisa was also known for being the DJ in the family as she was always ready to pull out her equipment and blast the music for everyone in the neighborhood to hear.  She DJ'd at weddings, birthdays, graduations, and just regular old get togethers' for so many friends and family, that there was never a question of who was going to play the music…..until now!!  Her latest venture was making beats and producing music where she dreamed of taking her talents to Atlanta, GA some day.

Lisa was a kind, loving, and caring sister, auntie, and friend and had one of the biggest hearts to anyone who has had the pleasure of knowing this beautiful person and will be greatly missed.

Lisa went home to glory on Tuesday, May 29, 2018.  She leaves behind to mourn her homegoing, her siblings: Lecia, Linda, LeNeil, and Ebony; her nieces and nephews: LeRon, MieLecia, Linda, LeAndre, LeDon, and Chloe; Stepfather: Sam; her grandparents: Eugene and Joyce Black; her aunts and uncles: Glenda, Necia (Reese), Dion, and Saul; and a host of great nieces and nephews, cousins, and other aunts and uncles from the Hogan side.  Lisa also leaves to mourn so many friends who have been in her life not just for a reason, or a season, but for a lifetime of memories and laughter as she meant the world to so many people.

We will always love and miss you, Eiah.
