Michelle Williams was born on April 18th, 1961, to her loving mother, Lucy Williams, and father, Henry James Johnson. Although Michelle was born with a physical handicap, she never let it define her or limit her spirit. As a child, she had two very close friends, Irene and Debra, who included her in every activity she was able to participate in. She loved those moments, and she loved them dearly. Michelle attended Lincoln West High School, graduating in 1979. During her time there, she excelled in math and art. She carried her love for art into her first job, preparing folders for senior citizens.
In her free time, Michelle enjoyed playing board games, handheld video games, talking with her loved ones, and watching her favorite daytime TV shows. Michelle had a spirit like no other. Her energy was contagious, and she always kept a smile on her face, and on the faces of those around her. She was consistently positive, levelheaded, and one of the easiest people to talk to and confide in. Michelle loved her life, and most importantly, she loved her family and friends.
Michelle spent her last days at Jennings Nursing Home, where she bonded with her peers and quickly became one of the most beloved residents. She participated in countless activities, especially her favorite, arts and crafts. Michelle transitioned into eternal life on July 2nd, 2026, surrounded by Angels of Mercy. She will never be forgotten, and her life will forever be cherished.
Michelle leaves to mourn her sister, Annie Mae Stephens; nephews, Phillip Williams (Jill) and Stephan Williams (Joi); greataunt, Rosa Thornton; cousin, Eleanor Still; greatnieces, Shyonna Williams and Shyann Williams; greatnephews, Phillip Williams and Stephan Williams Jr.; greatgreatniece, Zora; greatgreatnephew, Kingston; and a host of family and friends.
