Reverend Kenneth Taylor was born on June 12, 1961, and was called to rest on April 17, 2026. He was a beloved brother, husband, father, grandfather, family member, and friend whose life touched many hearts. Kenneth received his education through the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. Throughout his life, he worked at many places around Cleveland and was known as a hardworking and dependable man. Kenneth had a true gift for working with his hands. He took great pride in mechanics and loved fixing cars. He also enjoyed carpentry and was talented at building and repairing things. Kenneth always loved to serve the Lord. Later in life, he found a new passion in ministry and became a deacon at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, a role he truly enjoyed and embraced with dedication. As his faith continued to grow, Kenny decided to further his ministry and answered the call to become a Minister. His love for God, devotion to service, and commitment to ministry touched many lives. Beyond his skills and work ethic, Kenneth found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved spending time with his family, listening to music, and singing gospel songs that lifted the spirits of those around him. He especially loved being around his grandchildren, cherishing every moment spent with them.
He also enjoyed peaceful moments going to the creek, where he could relax and appreciate nature. Kenneth was preceded in death by his mother, Bernice Taylor, and his sisters, Barbara Taylor and Darlene Taylor.
Kenneth leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Joyce Taylor; his beloved daughter, Patricia Weekly; six stepchildren; nineteen grandchildren; his brother, Ronald Long; his sisters, Arlene Taylor and Diane Adams; a host of nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, great-great nieces, and great-great nephews; along with many other family members and friends who will forever hold him dear in their hearts. Minister Kenneth Taylor will be remembered for his loving heart, his strong hands, his unwavering faith, and the joy he brought to others. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
