Sarah Elizabeth Cunningham

On Wednesday, February 11, 2026, Sarah Elizabeth Cunningham of Oakwood Village, Ohio, passed away peacefully at the age of 88. Born Sarah Parker on April 13, 1937, in Anniston, Alabama, she was the beloved daughter of Jay Anderson and Mattie Parker.

Sarah was preceded in death by her devoted husband of more than 60 years, Clayton Allen Cunningham Sr.; her son, Gary Dwayne; her brother, Willie Lee Wilson; and her sisters, Agnes Maxine Johnson and Vivian Douthit. She leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory: her sister and brother, Jacqueline Brown and Gerald Keith; her three children, Clayton Allen Jr., Gregory, and Rhonda Alane; along with 11 grandchildren, 19 great‑grandchildren, and 3 great‑great‑grandchildren, all of whom were the joy of her life.
