Tiauna Farrow Obituary

Tiauna Ciara Farrow, known for her infectious laughter and the kind of smile that could light up
the darkest room, has taken her final bow on the stage of life on March 22, 2024, at the age of
35. Born on August 7, 1988, in Cleveland, OH, to Nica Farrow. Tiauna was a force of nature
from the get-go, a whirlwind of joy and sass, and ready for an unpredictable journey of life.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, and the early death of her father, Rickey Freeman, Tiauna was
raised by her beloved grandmother, the late Great Mattie Roberson, who played a tremendous
part in shaping her character. It was under her love, guidance, and care that Tiauna became a
proud servant of the Lord at an early age, under the ministry at Everlasting Baptist Church.
Tiauna was a proud East Cleveland resident in the home of the Robersons, but also enjoyed
running the streets of Lakeshore with her siblings Russell, Nicarra, Briana, and Akeem Farrow.
She had the best of both worlds and found a perfect balance.
She twirled out of Shaw High School in 2006, with a diploma in 1 hand, and a flat iron and a
cosmetology license in the other; proving that she could do both hit the books and also slay looks!
But she didn’t stop there. Tiauna went on to become a STNA, tax preparer, and took up
culinary arts, just to name a few. There was no denying that she was a Hustla! I mean “if it don’t
make dollars, it don’t make sense” right?
To know her was to love her, and if you asked anyone; she was always trying to help someone,
preach to somebody, or act like she was everyone’s mother, and she finally got her chance. She
birthed an amazing son, Amir Golston, and found her true purpose in life; to create the best life
for him by any means! And she fulfilled that purpose each and every day.
Whether she was “swangin down the Clair” as Young Thowed, baking chocolate chip cookies, or
being the best mother she could be, she kept a smile on her face, and an inspirational word to
say. She will truly be missed by everyone that she came into contact with.
So as we say goodbye to Tiauna’s role as a mother, daughter, sister, niece, cousin, aunt,
godmother, friend to many, and so much more, let’s not mourn. Instead, let’s crank up the
volume in our lives, bake a batch of cookies in her honor, and share a joke or two. After all, that’s
what she would have wanted.
Drop Your Mic Tiauna. You have put on an unforgettable performance. Standing
Ovation!!!dTo know her was to love her, and if you asked anyone; she was always trying to help
someone, preach to somebody, or act like she was everyone’s mother, and she finally got her
chance. She birthed an amazing son, Amir Golston, and found her true purpose in life; to create
the best life for him by any means! And she fulfilled that purpose each and every day.
