William A. Milligan Jr.

William A Milligan Jr. was born July 2, 1949 in Ethel, Louisiana to William A Milligan Sr. (deceased) and ZearLee Wilson-Milligan. He departed this earthly life to be with our heavenly Father in His Glorious Kingdom on May 23, 2020. William was the oldest of 7 children and moved to Cleveland, Ohio at a young age. William started working at LTV Steel in 1969 as a Coiler Operator for 32 years until he retired in 2001. He was very dedicated, almost never missed a day of work.  

William married his wife Dorthelia Smith-Milligan in the year 1999 whom he loved with all his heart. The way he looked at her, you could just can see the love. He always said “who’s your baby” to his wife and she would reply “you are”.

William was a loving and kind Son, Brother, Father, Grand-Father, Great Grand-Father, Uncle, Son-n-Law and God Father. William was loved by everyone he came across. His hobbies were collecting toy cars, watching TV, washing his F150 truck and mainly cutting his grass. William loved to travel and to take cruises with his wife. He did a lot of things for people sometimes at no charge because he loved to help others. William was a member of Greater Strong Tower Church and dedicated his service to his Pastor by always being there for anything the church needed him to do.

William's Grandchildren were his heart along with his only God Daughter.

He leaves to mourn his wife Dorthelia Smith-Milligan 12 children Michelle, William III, Tenna, Kenneth (Shatia), Curtis, Alicia, Kevin(Shaneka), Tamara, Dontez(Charvatte), Demetrius, Dominick and Maureen. His Mother Zearlee Milligan, 3 brothers Calvin(Charmine), Alvin(Allison), Charles 3 sisters Betty, Patricia, Kimberley(deceased), Mother-in-Law Marie Cardwell, Father-in-Law George Cardwell, 5 Sister-in-Laws Shirley(Michealangelo), Cecelia, Kimberley, Harriett(deceased), Kimberley from MI, 3 Aunties MauraLee, Mattie, and Alberta. Grandkid, Terrence, Tenniya, Diamond, Curtis Long, Makeia, Kyla, Johnell, Jayshawn, Alysea, Exzavier, Bryson, Ayden, Karlynn, Bailee, Jada, Armanee, Cholee, Dontez Jr, Tristian , Kalila, Zara, Zayden,Taylor ,Trinity, Ta'dien,Tierra, Martavya, Monai, Amari, William 4th, Lahanna ,God Daughter Julianna and a host  Great Grandkids, Nieces, Nephews, Great nieces, Great Nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends and Church family.
