THE OBITUARY
William Burton Perry was born July 8, 1935 to Rachel Elizabeth Fussel and Euel Thomas Perry (both proceeded in death). He was the middle child of three children, including Mary Crosby (Las Vegas, Nevada) and Sarah Powell (Cleveland, Ohio). He was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio and graduated from East Tech High School. He accepted Christ in his life at an early age.
William Perry understood the meaning of hard work and stability at a very young age. He began work for the City of Cleveland at the age of 16 and remained working for the City of Cleveland for 46 years until he retired at the age of 62.
In 1957, William Perry married Tollie Epps, who proceeded him in death. To their union 4 children were born; two boys and two girls. William Perry later met Evelyn Regina Landers and raised 3 children; two girls and one boy.
William Perry was a provider and a devoted husband, companion, father, brother, grand- father, and great-grand father. He was a supportive and caring uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. He touched the hearts of all that knew him. He was a man that lived a long life, he especially loved his children, grand-children and great children with his whole heart. He would always say that they brought pure joy to his heart. He is going to be missed and we know that he will be in our hearts forever.
William Perry leaves to cherish his memories; his companion of 16 years, Cherry Thornton; 7 Children, David Perry (Jan), Casaundra Perry, Latricia Perry, William Perry, Tracy Williams, Tyrone Williams, and Terrell Williams (proceeded in death); 2 Sisters, Mary Crosby and Sarah Powell; 15 grandchildren and a host of great- grandchildren, family, and friends who will cherish his big heart, cool demeanor, and memories for years to come.
