Zah’Viere Daymeontae Henderson was born January 7th, 2009, in Cleveland, Ohio, to parents Jasmine Lottie Cottrell and Dayvontae T. Henderson. Zah’Viere loved his sports just like Grandma Frances loves her “stories!”
He played basketball and football growing up and went from being in the starting 5 basketball in junior high at Madison Community to becoming a varsity starting player his 9th grade year at Rhodes High School. He really loved to have fun and play in every way.
Zah’Viere was very passionate. One thing he could do was EAT. Chicken being one of his favorites along with beef stroganoff made by his mom, Jasmine. He loved to move around and travel with one of his special great aunts, Vanessa and special great uncle, John Smith (Geri). So excited, competitive, and full of energy.
Zah’Viere spoke of a career in professional football. NFL boy. He said if that wasn’t the case, then he’d be a football coach, sports photographer, or online gaming programmer. He loved his family the most and had the biggest heart. He would go the extra mile for his family and friends. His smile was unmatched. Of course, mom had him beat because where’d you think it came from? Lol.
Zah’Viere was always smiling and would always light up the room with great life and big bursts of energy. Being the life of the party just like his mom. He was the highlight to anyone’s day and a face you’d see and want to pon de’, replay again and again. So handsome and charming! So smart and kind! So whole, so honest. So true.
Zah’Viere was the eldest of seven siblings; Za’Mya Ann, Kah’Niya, Nylah, Dayvontae, Dayvon, and Jayce. All of his siblings loved him with a passion! They looked up to him and he could do no wrong! Zah’Viere could never be forgotten and will be always remembered in life Forever.
Zah’Viere was preceeded in death by his Great-Grandfather; Charles E. Williams Jr. and Great Uncle; George W. Smith.
